OpenTable+

For our annual Hackathon, I worked with a team of engineers and product designers to pitch “OpenTable+” — a new subscription service for the most loyal and hungry diners in the US and UK! The entire process was a sprint, and I helped lead the team in brand design, including this commercial and the landing page experience.

 

Early explorations

Looking at all the design systems we’ve set up for previous initiatives (Takeout, Experiences, Tastings, Loyalty), while also laying out the important screens that would live on this landing page, I played around with variations of color, shapes, and styles.

What has been so often the case for my work at OpenTable, I found that simple styling worked best. Communicating important screens and features while abstracting the rest brought to life the excitement of what could be OpenTable+.
